This is, by far, my favorite salad and dressing. I have made this for years, but I guess I forgot to review. The dressing, although sweet, is not *too* sweet (like some spinach salad dressings). And has a nice tang from the vinegar. Wonderful salad Jamie!

Really good salad.. I added some gorgonzola to it and it went nicely with the dried cranberries and almonds. Will definetely make this again.

Love it! Best ever! So easy. I used walnuts, the only nut I had in the house, and it was awesome.

The best ever!!! The only thing that I can possibly add is that make sure you use baby spinich as the other spinich has somewhat of a bitter taste (mine did anyway).

I don't tear the baby spinach leaves as they wilt more and it dilutes the liquid part of the salad.

So incredibly good. You don't need butter or oil or anything to toast nuts/seeds in a skillet, btw. Just vigilance :) This salad is also good with your favorite dressing (for picky eaters, or if you want convenience). I add croutons and often feta or blue cheese when I make this. And I make it several times a week! Thanks, Jamie!

MMmMM so good! I have been searching for a perfect spinach dressing for so long and couldn't find one at the store so thought I would try this recipe since it had a great rating and so many reviews! I loved it! YUm! i have definitely found my official spinach salad recipe :)- Thanks Jamie! I added reduced fat feta cheese, used olive oil instead of vegetable oil. I don't usually like poppy seeds so I left these out, but i left the toasted sesame seeds in and so good :) . I would probably add a little less sugar next time, 1cup of sugar left it too sweet for my personal taste.

I made this for a party at work and everyone loved it! I doubled the dressing and it was perfect. The only complaint that I had was the leftovers were not good, but I guess that should be expected.

This was a hit! It's perfect for eating dinner outside on warm nights. I made the dressing as directed (love it!) but adapted the salad slightly. Like a few others, I toasted the almonds in the oven for about 10 minutes at 350. I didn't use the poppy seeds or sesame seeds. I bought Craisins because they cost less, and I also added mandarin oranges. Crumbly cheese like feta, gorgonzola or goat cheese work wonderfully for added flavor!
