This won a Blue Ribbon at a County Fair. Frost with cream cheese icing, the tangy frosting brings out the blend of fruits and nuts in the cake.

A delicious banana cake made with vegetable shortening that doesn't require frosting! Use ripened bananas for optimum flavor.

This cake was first made for me by a friend while I was visiting her after she had delivered her 11th child. I told her, 'I should have baked for you!'

My family loves this cake. Frost with a cream cheese frosting with one ripe banana added and confectioners' sugar sprinkled over the top.

This is my grandmother's recipe. It is very moist and tastes great plain or with cream cheese frosting.
