"I used to love the jalapeno tartar sauce that a local restaurant offered so I decided to come up with my own version. Now I always have some made up at home."
Hmm. None of these ingredients are on sale today.

1 1/2 cups
chopped dill pickle
capers, drained and chopped
2 1/2 tablespoons
fresh lime juice
chopped jalapeno pepper
chopped fresh parsley
hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®)
salt to taste
Yummy and different. Tastes better the longer it sits.
Excellent flavor! Great with grilled, broiled or fried fish.
I can't wait to try this. I really love the idea of kicking up the spice level in tartar sauce!
I absolutely loved this tartar sauce. I didn't change one thing and it was just wonderful on the salmon croquettes that I made for my family. What a great change from the traditional. From now on I will make both kinds, but I'll bet this sauce will be used more than the sweet or dill traditional sauces. Thank you DBRENNY.
The recipe was fine. Although I feel it did need some pickle juice. I added about a tablespoon and cut the entire recipe to a third. It was a little loose, but tasty just the same.
