This was my first experience with making jam. This was interesting and good, and I served it with crackers and cream cheese. However my friends mother used to make the most amazing strawberry jelly/jam in the world. I don't know if the quality of the jelly has something to do with the berries themselves, or the sugar, or pectin, but I am still searching for something as sweet and thick as her jelly/jam. Her strawberries seemed to be more in tact that mine were in this recipe.
