This is a pretty good dip, but I did follow some of the suggestions in the other reviews. I mixed some parmesan cheese in the creamcheese mixture and then added panko bread crumbs to the cheese on the top. It was good, but I find it to be a very expensive dip when I think I would really rather have the actual jalapeno popper.

I've made it a few time and love how easy and spicy it is. I like it best with panko bread crumbs and Parmesan on top and broil or bake for a few minutes at the end to create the crispy topping.

This is wonderful! So easy to make and such a crowd pleaser. I perfer to bake in the oven as it dosen't seem to be as much oil released from the cheese. I also add a 1/2 cup of bread crumbs with the cheese and stir it into the mixture when it bubbles and resprinkle with a little parm cheese so it looks nice.

SO GOOD! I didn't use the green chilies because I was worried about how spicy it would be. I loved the end result otherwise. Maybe next time I'll try it with the chilies! Thanks for this easy recipe!

The reviews do not lie! This is great and an easy time saving recipe. I made it FINALLY for the first time this past weekend and spent quite a bit of time telling folks its name and ingredients. They were like a football team in a huddle over it! Thank you thank you thank you.

I made this last night for a party and it was the first thing to be finished !!I did use 5 fresh jalapenos,( would use more next time ) can of chilis, cheddar and parm cheese. I also reduced the amount of mayo . I used all light cream cheese and mayo also .Topped with the panko/parm mix and baked . Served it with sliced baquette bread .yummmm

This is not what I was hoping for. I used store brand mayo and followed the recipe EXACTLY and it tasted like mayo with jalapeno peppers in it. I wonder if I should have used better mayo or if it's supposed to taste like that! 5 stars only because I haven't tried it with name brand mayo.

I don't run into very many few star recipes on this site but this is one of them. This really lacked in flavor. Served at a BBQ I had and there was a lot left over. Not sure what I could do to make better?? Maybe add a little hot sauce. will continue to look for a better popper dip. sorry

Pretty good. Definitely needs more jalapeño if you want it to be spicy. Served it at a football party with baguette and everyone loved it.

we've made this several times now, changing it up for perfection. here's my advice.. ~it does taste best with toasted french baguette slices so don't bother adding breadcrumbs to the recipe..they failed to improve the spread. ~use half grated parm, and the other half fresh shredded ~double your jalepenos if you want some heat ~better yet, to really taste like poppers use fresh jalapenos. i recommend 4 and you can take out all or some seeds to tame the heat ~bake at 350 for 30 mins ~used reduced fat cream cheese and mayo and it was still fantastic!!!

This dip was awesome!! Tasted just like a jalapeno popper. I used 2 jalapenos cut up and made it the night before but would recommend more jalapenos it didnt seem too hot. Very delicious gonna make it again. Also, used panko crumbs and parmesean cheese on the top and baked it in the oven definate must. At the last few minutes put it on broil so it got a nice crunch on the top.

I followed this recipe exactly except for using a 7 ounce can of green chiles. The only thing that kept me from giving this recipe 5 stars was that when I microwaved it, the parmesan cheese on top hardened into a thick sheet which was nearly impossible to break apart. Next time I will stir the topping in with the rest of the ingredients. Nevertheless, the whole dish was nearly demolished within a half hour by just four people. (I served it with Wheat Thins, Triscuits, and Jalepeno Doritos-all of which complemented the taste of the dip). I will definitely be making this again and again.
