My sis-in-law made for a party recently. She did mix the parmesan with Panko breadcrumbs - tasted like real poppers. It was a huge hit!

This dip was so awesome and easy to make...I was a little leary about putting cream cheese in the microwave, but it turned out great!! The only thing I did different was the second time I made it, I didn't add so much parmesan cheese..maybe about two tablespoons...Still the easiest tasiest appetizer I have ever made...every time I take it somewhere I get rave reviews!!

While I loved the dip - I only assigned 4 stars because it really needs some additions to be 5 stars. I followed the advice of some other reviewers and added more jalapeno peppers - I basically doubled the amount of jalapenos and green chiles. I also added about a cup of Cheddar Cheese to the mix to give the dip a little more substance. I did not microwave - I cooked in the oven at 350 degrees for about 25-30 minutes. I served with frito scoops and round tortilla chips so people had a choice. Everyone loved it and several people asked for the recipe.

HUGE hit. Delish. Definitely needs a bit more kick though. Next time, more jalapeno!

I stuck to this recipe just as it is, and it was amazing. People flip out over this stuff! I did do as one reviewer suggested and mix the crumbs and cheese together. So I guess I'm a little bit of a liar, but the basics remained the same and it turned out flawlessly.

Insanely good. Guests at my party couldn't get enough of this spread. It's amazing how much it really tastes like a jalapeno popper. I doubled the amount of canned jalapenos and added 1 fresh jalapeno. It gave it just the right amount of spice.

I made this as a cold dip and it was delicious. I didn't have any jalapeno peppers on hand, so I used about 2 tbsp. of chili puree with garlic to give it the heat. I also doubled the amount of green chiles I used. I used light cream cheese and mayo. I served with tortilla chips and toasted pita crisps. I'll try it hot next time!

It was pretty good...not quite sure what the HUGE deal was about. Did anyone else have trouble with the Parmesan melting on the top? I used fresh shredded, but maybe it had been on the shelf to long...didn't melt like i hoped. People did eat it up though...just not my thing...maybe I would have liked it more with more jalapenos...

I just made this for my family as a test to make sure it was good before I prepared it for my Culinary Arts Class. For the first time in my life, I followed a recipe exactly, served with Townhouse crackers. It was an absolute hit with my family, I will definitely be making it again.
