I have had made this a dozen times or so and every time it's a hit. Instead of diced can jalapeno peppers, I use 3 fresh jalapenos without seeds and diced. Also I add two cans of chopped green chilies instead of one. The fresh jalapenos gives it a nice crunch. It's a very quick recipe that you know you can turn to in case of a last minute party or pitch in.

I used 3 fresh jalapenos instead of canned. I took it to a party with fritos and Triscuits. When I went back to get the dish, it had been scraped clean! I highly recommend this if you have to take an appetizer or snack to a party.

People were scraping the bowl to get the last remnants of this yummy appetizer. I was proud of myself for bringing this because I'm not a cook and everyone loved it!

I am constantly asked to make this dip. However, the mayo kind of grossed me out, so I haven't used that since I first made the recipe. In lieu of mayo, I use sour cream. I also always use low fat everything..never have any complaints!!

I have made this three times over the holiday season...everyone loves it. I took it to work for a Christmas party and it was eaten up! I was even asked for the recipe by a couple of co-workers. Instead of microwaving, I did pop it in the oven at 350 degrees until the parmesan cheese melted. There is also a similar recipe on the site that recommends mixing the parm with the other ingredients and putting in a bread bowl. i think I will try that method next as the parm makes the taste for me. Thanks for sharing...i loved the Kraft spreads and this was better!

I make my own Jalapeno Poppers with cream cheese so on and so on.....I made this tonight and it tastes just like my poppers! GREAT! Thanks for sharing. The one thing I wish I can change without altering the taste... is of course the grease!!

The men stood around the dish for the 20 minutes it took them to completely inhale every last bit of this dip. It's insanely good and authentic. My only changes just to be a little healthier, I did 1/2 cup mayo 1/2 cup sour cream, chopped 6 fresh jalpenos, omitted the greens chilies (don't like the flavor). I also added a little mozzerella cheese to the mixture for the stringy cheese effect. I've served with melba chips, french bread (untoasted) and club cracker dipping sticks. The bread is the best but it goes well with all three. Everyone loves this dip. It's a keeper for sure!

Unbelievable!! Put it in a bread bowl (forgot the grated cheese), the whole thing went. I did not think it too spicy, just perfect, tastes EXACTLY like a jalapeno popper from the pizza shop.
