"An old fashion recipe from a collection of my mother's favorites. With a dash of nutmeg the aroma will take you back to grandma's kitchen."

peaches, peeled and sliced
1 1/2 cups
white sugar, divided
This was so quick and delicious! I only changed a couple things. I melted the butter in a pie plate and then sliced unpeeled peaches into it. Instead of coating with 3/4 cup of sugar I lightly sprinkled sugar on the peaches. I then topped with the batter in which I used cinnamon instead of nutmeg (personal preference). I will be making this again - might try cherries next time. Thank you for the recipe!!
This recipe was awesome... I'm really picky about the cobbler part so have had a hard time finding a recipe I like but this is the one!! Its so easy to make too, only thing I did different was I only had frozen peaches on hand and I mixed the melted butter into the cobbler batter and put it on top on the peaches, only because my oven burnt the fruit of a different recipe I tried... thank you for sharing this I will be making it a lot.
Followed the recipe EXACTLY and it turned out fabulous
Great recipe! It was easy and everyone loved it.
