These biscuits were awesome! When I made them exactly how the recipe said, the dough was still very wet, so I had to add probably 1/2 cup more of flour, but then the dough was perfect and I made them the rest of the way as stated and they were AMAZING! My husband said that they were a lot better than our usual go to biscuit recipe!

Love this recipe... I must say this is the simplest recipes ever and my family loves the biscuits! They only difference is I use the butter flavored shortening and they are so YUMMY!

WONDERFUL! My husband used this recipe for the first time for my surprise birthday breakfast and they made him my HERO! The biscuits were so light and flavorful I was really surprised. I have never made any this good but I will use this recipe from now on and will look forward to trying other Allrecipes.com. THANK YOU!

I just tried this recipe and it was okay but not great. I was baking it for the thirteen minute minimum time and ended up taking them out 3 minutes early because they were over cooked. I'm not sure if being over cooked was the reason I tasted nothing but baking powder but there is too much baking powder in this recipe. I'm glad I didn't make these for family but just as a test because I would not feed these to guests. Also don't need quite that much milk. Was very sticky and gooey and hard to get out of the bowl. I'll tweek the recipe and see how things go. Thank you

I have been making these biscuits for years and they are always a hit. For a healthier, vegan twist...I use coconut oil in place of shortening and almond milk in place of milk. They are light and flavorful.

These were very good. I did what another member suggested and used my food processor to mix the ingredients. I did find that 1 cup of milk was way too much, I had to add an extra 1/2 of flour. They turned out very good though. I made the bob Evans sausage gravy recipe from this site, and it was so good!
