not my favorite Jell-O recipe. The pie looked the same when sliced, but the red layer kept slipping off the blue layer. It was just okay. Perhaps made in a 9 x 13 pan as squares would have been better. It basically tasted like Jell-O with crumbs and topping. Nothing special.

I made this pie for the 4th of July. It turned out great, just like the picture. My family really liked it too.I poured the blue jello in a pie shell, let it jel in the refrig. Then I added the coolwhip, put it back in the refrig. Then I made the strawberry and put it in the refrig. for 15 min. Before I spooned it on the coolwhip very slow. Thanks for the recipe, Wanda T.

After reading previous reviews, I allowed the red jello to set out longer than the prescribed 5 minutes while I put the pie into the fridge after adding the whipped cream. Still the whipped cream floated to the top. Ahh..still tastes good, but not as pretty.

Like the previous reviewer, the whip cream ended up floating to the top when I poured the top layer. Next time I will let the top layer cool longer as well as put the pie in the fridge for a while after the whip cream layer. I will try again for other holidays such as Christmas, or perhaps a grape and orange jello for halloween.

I've made this pie once before, and loved the taste of it. It didn't look very good, though; when I poured what was supposed to be the top layer of the pie (the strawberry gelatin) onto the whipped topping, the topping floated to the top, and THAT ended up being the top layer. I'm not totally sure, but this might have happened because I poured the gelatin too quickly and uh...roughly, for lack of a better word. That I might not have spread the whipped topping evenly enough may also have something to do with it. Next time, I'm going to pour the gelatin slowly and carefully, and try to spread the topping as evenly as possible, and see if that helps. Thank you for this easy, quick, yummy recipe!

This recipe was EASY. Next time I might add more cool whip to the center layer or some to the top when serving. My family enjoyed the taste and it looks cute for memorial day Fourth of July or just for fun.
