VERY good recipe. I don't love tradtional meatloaf, but I made this for Father's Day and we all loved it! Next time I will cut the spices in half though. I love bold flavor in everthing, but the seasoning was a bit much. Otherwise, this was perfect and delicious!! Thanks for the recipe!!

This meatloaf receipe was great!! I didnt have a can of tomatoes on hand so I omitted them and the recipe turned out just right, also instead of using the fresh herbs I used italian seasoning (it comes in a shaker) excellent! It also saved time and money. Oh and I put ketchup on the top right before it came out the oven.. 5 stars!!!!!

It smelled WONDERFUL coming out of the oven, but I would have enjoyed it more perhaps with less Italian seasoning. It tastes like you're downing straight herbs at times.

Really good. I had to drain the fat and then cook it uncovered for an additional 20 mins or so. Everyone enjoyed it though. Would make it again.

My husband told me that this was the best meatloaf he ever ate. Score! I changed a little bit of the recipe. First, I used Italian bread crumbs. I used a 6 cheese marinara instead of ketchup. I couldn't find my Italian blend spice, but I figured the bread crumbs would help with that. I used garlic powder instead of garlic salt. Once I had everything mixed in and pressed into the baking dish, I covered the top with more marinara sauce. About a half hour before it was done, I topped with more Mozzarella cheese. It turned out great! Next time, I will transfer from the baking dish to a serving plate so it doesn't look so bad. There was a ton of grease from the meat and cheese sitting on all sides of the baking dish. To finish off my meal, I made wide noodles with butter and parmesan.I warmed more marinara sauce to top it all. With a side of french cut green beans, this meal was top-notch without breaking the bank or the back!

I do not like meatloaf at all, but my boyfriend does and I wanted to make it for him. So, I compromised with this italian style one and to my surprise, it was quite good. However, I think it would be better as meatballs because as meatballs, it became overwhelming after a while.

I have a lot of meatloaf recipes, but this is by far the best. The only thing I changed was I used 1 lb. ground beef and 1 lb. Italian style ground turkey. Yummy in the tummy!

This recipe is a keeper in my household, the best we've ever had. I made a few modifications though. I used Italian bread crumbs, Italian diced tomatoes and I put the diced tomatoes in a processor to avoid the chunks of tomatoes others complained about.

Everyone LOVED this recipe. My mom had said that she used to make this for us when I was younger, but couldn't remember the recipe. So I found this one. I prepared it almost exactly. I used a can of stewed tomatoes with seasonings that I blended further ((I have kids that refuse to eat tomatoes)) and then when there was about 10 minutes left of bake time I added a top layer of shredded mozz cheese. FABULOUS!! ((oh, I did make mine in a loaf shape but free standing on a pan))
