I use half beef, half ground pork, otherwise I follow the recipe.
This is the best homemade sauce/meatball I've ever had, and that's from a guy who has been lucky enough to come from a family who makes just about everything from scratch. I'm not talking better than Ragu and the frozen meatballs at the supermarket, I'm talking better than grandma's.
