A keeper. Cooking the meatballs in the sauce is a huge time saver. The sauce fills the house with the best aroma, and the final product is delicious.

I'll give this 2 stars based on the meatballs which were very good. The sauce however - my husband didn't even want it and he eats anything.

Delicious though I had to modify it at the last minute when I realized my canned tomatoes and paste were expired! Used mostly tomato sauce + 1 14oz can of whole peeled tomatoes.

This was very good, but a little too salty. Next time I'll use unsalted tomatoes or cut the salt in half. I followed the recipe exactly, except I made mini meatballs instead of 12 big ones.

Everyone in my family loved this recipe, the sauce was fantastic! I took advice from reviews, and also browned my meatballs before throwing them in the sauce and it worked beautifully. The meatballs could use a little more flavour.

The sauce was great but the meatballs were lacking in flavor. I'll keep searching for another meatball recipe. Thanks for posting though!

I don't care for spaghetti, but my husband and kids love it so I make it every once in a while. Now that I have found this recipe, I might do it every week. It is preposterously good!!! Like others, I was hesitant to cook the meatballs in the sauce, but I'm glad I followed the recipe as written. When my husband got home and tasted a meatball, he was raving about how delicious it was: evenly cooked, not falling apart, and restaurant-quality (a big compliment coming from him!).

I made just the meatballs because I couldn't find my usual meatball recipe. I substituted a cup of Italian bread crumbs for the fresh, then browned in butter. I think the bread crumbs made for a drier meatball, but still better than frozen!

This recipe was fabulous!! This is the best Italian sauce that I have eaten. I did cook the meatballs in the oven for 30 minutes at 350° as one of the other reviewers suggested.

The meatballs were great and they cooked wonderfully in the sauce. However, I found the sauce to be too tomato-y, missing something but I don't know what.

10 stars!! This is the best spaghetti sauce I have ever had and very easy to make. I will never use the store bought sauce again. I must admit that I gently sauteed the meatballs before adding to the sauce. Highly reccomend!!!!

I only used the meatballs from this recipe, as I only had 20 minutes to get dinner on the table. The meatballs alone were outstanding, and I imagine that being slow cooked as opposed to baked (what I ended up doing to get things done) they would be perfect. Next time I'm going to make the sauce and the meatballs.

Only made the sauce but it was AWESOME. I added some additional basil, oregano and garlic to taste. Very yummy. Mixed up the tomatoes too....some crushed, some diced, etc. Froze half for later as it make a bunch. YAY!

Made with ground turkey and whole wheat spaghetti noodles this was sooo yummy. I added an extra tbs of grated parm. to my meatballs, sauteed a yellow bell pepper with my onion and pureed the sauce in my blender to give it a smoother texture and viola a great meal!
