Not so great. I guess I just like things with a bit more of a kick. Needs something...I tried white pepper, but still kind of blah...

Since five stars are veeery few and far between from me, I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could. Yummm! Like another rater, I used bulk Italian sausage and canned mushrooms. I also didn't have enough cream, so made up the difference with whole milk. Next time I'll try it with the cream, and remember to pull out the Parmesan right away. I used a can of sliced black olives too, so it was quite an easy recipe to throw together. This is definitely a keeper. Thanks!

My husband liked this a lot. I cut the butter in half, used skim milk, and sprinkled the meat/veggies with a little flour after browning to help thicken the sauce. Topped with a little mozzarella (didn't have parm on hand).

A pasta sauce this good should have a fancier name! No fresh mushrooms on hand - but they will be for sure next time. I used 2% milk so added a slurry of about 1 tsp flour to thicken it up a bit.

Yummy! the entire family loved it, my husband told me I out did myself. I will have to triple the recipe next itme. I did not use mushrooms and I did not have enough cream to double but it still turned out awesome. I will be making this again.

Very good. I didn't have ripe olives so I substituted a can of diced tomatoes and added a few dashes of hot sauce and garlic salt. Even my husband, who does not like mushrooms, enjoyed this meal.

Absolutely delicious. I added a large fresh tomato, diced, when I added the cream and olives. Served over bowtie pasta. Will make again and again. Thank you.

This is wonderful! I made it with bulk Italian sausage and canned mushrooms (that's what I had on hand) and it turned out fantastic. Will def. be making this again! Thank you.
