Incredible! I used Jimmy Dean's sage sausage. Added and onion and italian seasoning. To add extra beans I used a can of red kidney beans when I added the northern beans. I also subsituted frozen spinach at the end. Loved this soup. Can't wait to make again!

Excellent Soup. We used hot italian sausage, probably would have been better to use either the sweet italian sausage, or half of each. Maybe add more beans next time. Still, it was very good.

I love soup and this is one of my new favorites. The sausage gives it so much flavor. I used 3 sweet and 2 hot sausages and I added a 14 oz can of chicken broth. I also used a package of frozen spinach in place of the fresh. I added some pearl couscous, which was great, but I wouldn't do that again because it become mushy when I froze it. This was a great heart warming soup. Thanks for the recipe!

was a very good recipe, but i added a few things, i added onions, celery and squash, i think it needs more beans next time and i was thinking i should have added some kind of pasta to it, overall i recommend it... very hearty

This is fantastic! I make it all of the time, just as written, except I double the recipe. Our favorite soup.

hmmm...this was just okay for me. I made this in a crock pot and used turkey sausage to cut down on the fat. Was okay but not sure that I'd make it again.....

How can anything so quick and easy to prepare taste so darn good! I can see where this soup would be easy to alter to suite your own taste but i must encourage you to try this as written. It is amazing!

I live alone, so any soup I make I have to enjoy for a long time. This is the first soup that never got old. The spicy sausage is delicious every time.

This was pretty good...not as good as I expected given all the reviews. I think it had too much zucchini for my taste.

This was so easy to make and tasted great. The only thing I did differently was to cook the sausage and then put it all in a slow cooker for 6 hours.

I changed this up a bit due to not having some ingredients. I cut up leftover pork roast and substituted it instead of sausage, I also didn't have tomatoes. It turned out really good. I liked using the spinich in it for extra fiber and it made it look bright and colorful.
