There aren't enough stars to rate this soup. I use chunks of carrots and celery, lots of garlic and green onion. To avoid the fat issue I brown and drain Hot Italian sausage and then I use lots of paper towels and squeeze the fat out of the meat. I also use a slow cooker for 10-12 hours and add the tortellin 20 minutes before serving.
