I thought that this recipe was pretty good. Though I felt that there wasn't enough "BAM" to it. So I added some Cumin (1/2 Tablespoon, Italian Seasoning ( 1/2 Tablespoon) and then about a 1/4 to 1/2 cup of Black Beans. Made the dish much more meatier! Also I made it with Turkey Sausage, also a good addition!

I made this meal tonight and it was wonderful!!! Quick and easy. I had dinner on the table in 30 min. My son never eats veggies and he ate all of it. This recipe will stay on the menu in my house.

It was very good, but not spicy enough for my family. I perked it up a bit with some seasoning salt and some garlic salt. Delicious!

I just found this site while looking for a different way to cook my italian sausages. It sounded good and I thought well its a one potter which is always my fav! It was nice. I was not fussy on the brand of sausages I used. I read the reviews first and bumped up the hot sauce. I also saw where someone added egg and thought ooooh that sounds gooood. So I did too! It was a good recipe but not something I would probably make on a regular basis. But it could have had something to do with the brand of sausages. They were quite tough and tasteless.

My family loved this. I used fresh tomatoes instead of canned and didn't have the juice that comes from canned tomatoes so it was a little less tomatoey! (Is that a word?) I also used frozen mixed veggies instead of just peas. Anyway, the family loved it and said to cook it anytime! It's very easy as well.

Good recipe, but the addition of some water chestnut slices and scrambled eggs made it even better. Tasty when made and still good as left overs.

Thank you for this recipe. I was looking for something quick and easy for a very hungry boyfriend and this turned out to fit the bill. Like you said, the ingredients were on hand and it turned into a quick, satisfying meal with just a touch of spice. We enjoyed it!

Just made this dinner tonight. made a few modifications as it was an "on hand" meal. Used white rice, and added 1/2 red and 1/2 green peppers, and 1 can large peas drained. Also added a couple (4) splashes Tobasco to add some zip. worked out well. just need to be careful not to over do the tobasco. next time will use the frozen peas as they did come out a bit soft.
