Tasted like a restaurant salad! I used this dressing on romaine, cherry tomatoes, black olives and peppers. Very sweet.

Overall an OK dressing. My husband said it was too strong of a vinegar taste. Wasn't something he raved over and he's the italian dressing junkie. I'm going to modify it with less vinegar next time.

This dressing was good but not particularly distinctive. I follow the recipe exactly except for substituting olive oil. I did not find it overly sweet just a little on the bland side.

I made this with Splenda instead of sugar. Much better than the plain mix. I used it with Garden Pasta Salad on this site, made with whole wheat rotini. Excellent! This is a keeper!

A nice dressing using a packaged mix for a flavor boost. I used Good Seasons Italian and surprisingly this did not taste anything like the original product. It was a little sweeter than we like it so I will adjust the sugar next time.

I have made this many times and this is now my go to dressing. I would usually make my own dressing or just make this by the package directions. Now I get the best of both worlds! I've made as is but have taken liberies since - half balsamic, half red wine vinegars - olive oil - fresh herbs etc. I do use less sugar but it can be adapted to your liking.

I really don't like store bought dressings so I'm always searching for a healthy tasty new one. THIS IS THE BEST!! The first time I made it I had everything ready to go but didn't have the envelope of Good Season's Dessing Mix. Instead I used three tablespoons of McCormick's Salad Supreme. It was to die for. The original recipe is just as good. I found you need to let the dressing set for a few hours for the best blended taste. Great recipe!

How does this classify as a recipe if you're using packaged dressing mix? Next, we'll see a recipe for boiled water...

The salad dressing tasted very good. Next time I won't add water. I prefer a thicker vinaigrette.

This dressing is excellent, better than just mixing the dry like is stated on the pkg.Makes it less intense as I heard someone else say. It reminds me alot of the dressings you get at Italian restaurants back home in NY. Makes a plain lettuce tomato and cheese salad delicious. I did make a change, I used olive oil instead but I bet it would good either way, I just prefer olive.

OMG delicious! Used less sugar (preferred taste), used half balsamic and half cider vinegar, no water but other than that the same! For a bunch of NON-salad eaters to request this dressing at a meal is HUGE! It has a lovely flavor, Cudos and hats off!

I liked the sweetness in this dressing; made it quite different and everyone enjoyed it. I'll try it again with the olive oil since so many others said it tasted even better.

My husband and I both loved it. When I served it at a family dinner, the bowl was about licked clean. I can certainly see how this might not be universally popular as it has a very unique flavor and won't tickle everyone's taste buds the same, but it is a staple for me now. I found the balance between sweet and flavorful positively perfect.

Pretty good, surprisingly sweet. I also used the half basalmic half apple cider combo with extra virgin olive oil. I'd probably make this again.

I used to make the good seasons dressing exactly like the box says but doing it this way comes out lighter and not so overpowering. Thanks for a definite keeper!

This recipe is an awesome "Sweet Italian" Dressing. I used Splenda in place of the sugar, and it tasted just as great, but without the extra calories. I also used canola oil in place of vegetable oil. That way we get the hearthealthy oil in our diet. I used this on top of a chopped salad, and it was delicious!!

I made this for dinner last night with friends over, and all agreed it was delicious. Usually I make my own old stand by, oil and vinegar. This was great, and I used Splenda in place of sugar, used half the water, and my seasoning pack was that of one used for a Pasta Salad, one I make in the summer time. Delicious and a keeper.
