Easy to prepare. Followed recipe as written(with the exception serving in lettuce.) Very colorful, fresh and light tasting especially with fresh tomatoes. Olives add nice zip. My family always prefers extra virgin olive oil over mayo it held true with this recipe. Finding a mayo free potato salad was wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

I loved the idea of bringing a non-mayo potato salad to a tailgate party.. It was very mild, and seemed to be missing something. Next time I will try adding additional basil and garlic.

Rave reviews!!! Trying to make enough potato for 80 people on a sweltering day was tough. This his "no mayo" recipe was an absolute hit! I used jars of sliced olives instead of halving them, and whole cherry tomatos instead of sliced. I figured not everyone likes (or can medically handle) tomatos. I think it helped the salad hold up better as well. A good olive oil is a must! It's worth the extra money for this recipe!

I liked this recipe, but I don't think I had the best olive oil. But with good olive oil, I think it would have been really, really good. It was a nice change from the old fashioned mayo potato salad.

I made this on Saturday for a barbeque. I was looking for a potato salad that wouldn't leave me concerned about the mayo in the heat - this was perfect! I got several compliments on how nice and light it was. I did substitute sliced black olives for the stuffed ones and halved cherry tomotoes for the Romas - they just hold up better. Thanks for a great recipe!

I agree, this is very similar to a german potato salad. I didnt have any oregano so I substituted fresh rosemary instead. The EVOO makes it much nicer than the usual mayo based p.salads! It turned out great and was a nice compliment to my italian feast!

I made this for Mother's Day and it received RAVE REVIEWS from everyone!!! I was hunting for a potato recipe that did not include mayonnaise and this one was great!!! I wondered if this would be bland, but the combination of the garlic, olives, olive oil and seasonings (although, I did not have fresh basil and used dry instead)made this a WOW!!! I've made similar recipes that include about the same amount of ingredients that do not come close to this one. This does resemble a german type potato salad, (to us, anyway!) Everyone loved this and I will definitely make this again! Absolutely a great potato recipe to use in warm weather!!

I made this for Easter Dinner. A nice change from using all the mayo, light cool and refreshing! I had some yellow peppers to use up so added half a one finely chopped and also 1 celery stalk finely chopped, didn't have onion so added onion powder instead.
