Oooo so good! Scaled to 3 servings, did not add the butter and used garlic powder instead of garlic salt. Used on lightly salted Orville Redenbackers Naturals. Just shake seasoning in the bag of hot popcorn. Just delicious was this combo. Loved the cheesey flavor. Thanks!

Pretty good to spice up regular popcorn. We have bags and bags of butter flavored microwave popcorn, so I left out the butter from the recipe and just used the microwave popcorn. Worked just fine; I also used garlic powder instead of garlic salt. Thanks for the recipe!

Using salted butter and Romano cheese, I find that you don't really need to use garlic salt. Instead, just use garlic powder. Also, I just toss in the melted butter and then start sprinkling in the Italian seasoning and garlic powder in order to not use too much Italian seasoning - just sprinkle it on by eye. If you want it saltier, you can always just sprinkle on a extra salt.

This was great. I used garlic powder instead of garlic salt and I used my own homemade italian seasoning. I did add a generous sprinkle of nutritional yeast and we really thought it was tasty. NOTE:I used my air popper to make the popcorn.

Great snack for a get-together. The seasonings are just right: not too salty, not oily, with a nice touch of Italian flavor. A must try for people who like popcorn and Romano/Parmesan cheese.

Good snack! I found it a little heavy on the Italian seasoning, but tasty. Thanks :)

I made three different snack mixes tonight and found this to be the best one! I wish I made more. I used Parmesan cheese instead of Romano and actually stirred it in the butter mix instead of adding later. I also used garlic powder instead of garlic salt. Because I had read a few reviews that said it wasn't flavorful enough, I added a little more oregano and basil and even lemon pepper to the mixture. I found five cups of popcorn was a little less than the mixture so I added some small pretzels. You may want to use more popcorn or a little less butter to compensate. Overall I really liked this one and wished I had made more.

I made this for an italian themed girls only movie night. We loved it! I used Orville white popcorn and it was very tender. Thanks for the post!

This is a really good snack and to keep it low fat I used butter spray and low fat grated Parmesan cheese.

Great way to spice up boring microwave popcorn! I used butter flavored cooking spray instead of melted butter for a more even coat. Delicious!
