We thought this was GREAT! I changed the recipe a bit - I used red pepper & asiago cheese chicken sausage, 1/2 cup chopped onion sauteed with the garlic - added 14oz can diced tomatos(no salt) w/basil and 1/2 cup chicken broth mixed with 1 TBS cornstarch - 10oz bag fresh spinach chopped and 12 oz of cooked bowties - Yummm! we will have this again.

Easy & quick & really tasty. I cooked the spinach separately in the microwave and added a bit of lemon juice. I think garlic would have been good as well. Used some spicy chicken sausage we had on-hand and it really stood out. Fresh basil on top and it looked as well as tasted like a gourmet meal!

I used what I had on hand: wheat spaghetti, zucchini and carrot matchsticks. I added a bit of basil, as suggested. My 10 yo said it's wonderful. I also used turkey Italian sausage links. Topped with freshly grated Parmesan.

Liked this one alot! Used Mozzarella Chicken Sausage and added a cup of chicken broth to the meat mixture at the end of cooking. Also used fresh spinach and a Tbls of basil- as others recommended. Served with Linguine. I would serve this for a BIG crowd. It is really easy to make and it can keep in a chaffing dish well. REALLY, REALLY good!

This was good. A little bland but adding spices can make it better. I added parsley and basil to the sausage. Used italian hot sausage but will try a milder one next time. I too wanted it a litle saucier so I added some chicken broth to the sausage as well. Used mozarella and parm cheese. Kids were not thrilled with the spinach but my husband really liked it. Will make again.

Added an onion with the garlic. Used HOT Italian sausage. Added basil, oregano, and parsley to sausage while it was cooking. Used "Dreamfields" low carb penne pasta. Fabulous!

Fantastic! So fast and easy! I had some wide egg noodles in the pantry and some garlic and cheese flavored Italian sausage in my freezer and punched those ingredients into the search engine. My whole family loved it! Didn't have any Romano cheese but shredded low fat Mozzarella worked just fine. My husband who doesn't really like pasta dishes that much raved about it. Will definitely make again!

I was looking for a way to use up my Italian chicken sausage and this fit the bill. I used ziti and cooked it separately. I saute onions along with the garlic and then added 1 cup of chicken stock. Then I added 1/2 bag of baby fresh spinach, chopped, to that. After the pasta was done, I stirred the chicken-spinach-sausage mixture into the drained pasta and add the parm. cheese. We loved it. Next time I won't wait for leftover sausage.

It was runny and could have been thickened in some way. My fiance complained of the absence of sauce, but I enjoyed it immensely. Needs something to absorb the extra oil...

A little bland but with this recipe you can add a splash of any flavoring to push it over the top. A little spaghetti sauce or oil and basil or Alfredo sauce perhaps just special flavorful cheese. This recipe was well liked by the 16 I served.

We found this very unappealing. Too fatty and no flavor. It sat in the fridge and went bad...no one wanted any leftovers. I thought it would be good, but it fell really short.

This receipe was a big hit with my family!!! I used a different pasta and hot italian sausage .before serving I drizzled the whole dish with more olive oil and sprinkled red pepper flakes on top with the cheese. My child of course complained about the missing sauce but my husband and I thought it was wonderful. I would make this again!

This recipe was easy, fast, and delicious. I substituted multi grain rotini for the egg noodles, and used sundried tomatoe flavored chicken sausage instead of italian sausage. I also added about 1/3 cup ff half and half, 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, and lots of freshly ground black pepper to the sausage and garlic for the last minute or 2. This gave more of a sauce to the pasta. The sausage definitely makes this dish!
