Really good. My guests loved it. I did cut the salt in half and used fresh thyme because I had it in my garden.

This mix is amazing! Never again will I buy the commercial mixes or Italian dressing in the bottle. Aromatic, economical, and above all extremely tasty. Only thing I didn't differently was reduce the salt drastically. There is enough already in the garlic and celery salt. Thanks, Debby. Great recipe.

I omitted the extra salt and stuck with just using the garlic salt. Awesome!

I sub garlic powder for garlic salt, and omit the celery salt... This helps reduce the saltiness. I make HUGE batches of this blend and then just mix in the good season's cruet. Some reviewers have mentioned that you don't need water, but I always add the water because it helps to tone down the vinegar flavor a little bit. Last night I used balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil.... I added twice the vinegar as it calls for and the result was DELICIOUS! My husband likes this recipe using lime juice instead of vinegar... we also use lime juice, yogurt and this powder as a marinade for chicken!

Good Stuff. I'm not a fan of bottled dressing and this hit the spot - flavoring salads & mending sandwich ingredients together.

Thank you for the best recipe! My husband a little suspicious at time of what I put together, took the store bought Italian seasoning and smelled the two and he said the stuff that I made had a more rich aroma, he now requests that I make the seasoning instead of buying it.

I gave it 5 stars because it is so easy to change it to anything you want. You could store or use this recipe for ever and put it on veggies or pastas. Leave out the salt, substitute dates for the sugar, substitute the oil with zucchini or 1/2 avocado & 1/4 cup of water or 1/3 c water & 1/3 cashew nuts or your favorite nut. Add more water if it is to thick. Every ones tastes are different and this is a recipe that can be made to please every one. Powder the herbs in a vitamix or coffee grinder. Add small chunks of carrot, celery, green pepper, zucchini or cilantro &parsley to the dressing chopped very small.

I use this recipe for marinating chicken for the grill. I marinated chicken for around 6 hours in the fridge & the results were better than any grilled chicken I have ever eaten at any restaurant. Used the leftover chicken for salads, sandwiches, etc...thanks so much for this recipe.

Good stuff. I didn't have any Italian dressing on hand. I forgot to add the salt and only had celery leaves (not celery salt). After reading the reviews I guess I lucked out! Definately didn't need anymore salt. I think next time I'll make it in advance and give the herbs time to marry. I made it and used it right away. It was still good. Also, I used olive oil.

Am I glad I found this one. I needed some Italian dressing and didn't have any. I followed the recipe with the exception of the salt. I didn't have any garlic salt and I only used 1 Tbsp. sea salt. The flavor was perfect. I poured this dressing over chicken thighs, potatoes and carrots before baking them in the oven. Thanks for this recipe.

Dressing is excellent when made as suggested. I also make a reduced-fat version by substituting half of the oil with water.

I was so dissapointed when I first made this. I used the canola oil as the recipe says and did not like the taste at all. I made it again using olive oil and it tasted much better. Good dressing if you're in a pinch. I will use the leftover dressing made w/ canola oil for a mariade.

I did reduce the salt but I found this recipe had way too many herbs. I used organic herbs and when I put it on my salad it was terrible. I think I kept eating oregano. My oregano has large pieces so maybe that was the difference.
