Excellent! I topped the salad I made for my relatives with this dressing and was told it was the best salad they ever had. They left with the recipe.

SO delicious!! I used an Italian seasoning blend to sub for the oregano and thyme. GREAT!! Also delicious sprinkled on chicken, then spray with olive oil and grill.

This recipe is great! We use a lot of salad dressing so now I won't have to buy it. I increased the recipe so now if I need dressing I can make it quickly. The only changes I made were to use olive oil instead of canola and reduce the salt to 1 TBSP. Thanks for sharing.

This is a delicious and light-tasting Italian dressing! Per other reviewers, I eliminated the 2 tablespoons of salt and it was just right without it. I doubled this recipe to fill a 16 oz bottle. I used balsamic vinegar which makes this extra special. It seemed like the amount of oregano was excessive but really it is perfect once mixed and poured on the salad. This dressing mixes and tastes best when the ingredients are allowed to "marry" overnight in the refrigerator. Finally a wonderful salad dressing that tastes as good as any in an Italian restaurant - we loved it! Update - Since I doubled the recipe, I used 1 tablespoon garlic salt and one tablespoon garlic powder which really gives this dressing a smooth taste with less saltiness. After making this quite a few times, adding a bit more sugar will temper down the acidic taste. I've also been adventurous and added dried, minced onion bits. Yummy!

Really quick and easy. Very tasty. I added a bit of red wine vinegar to the mix and was great. Great to know that there is a quick and easy recipe for Italian dressing that you can whip up with the ingredients in your kitchen!

This recipe was delicious. I used the recommended oil and vinegar and added a small amount of balsamic vinegar also. I would make this again.

I've used this mix several times now as a marinade for chicken as suggested by other reviewers - fabulous!! I cut down on the salt, as others mentioned. Very easy to make and use - I keep a container in my fridge to mix up as needed.

I used 1 tablespoon of salt as suggested by reviewers. I prefer zesty italian dressing so I added 1/2 tablespoon of pepper flakes and 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar but still didn't get the zestiness I wanted.

I changed it a little based on other reviewers advice...I cut the 2 tablespoons of salt to 1 tablespoon and added a pinch of red pepper flakes. I thought it was very good, but still needs a little bit more to make the flavor stand out. Also used red wine vinegar because I didn't have white and it was fine.

I was looking for a quick recipe for the dressing and I ran across this and it fit the bill! These are all ingredients everyone should have in their pantry...although I didn't have the celery salt(I will have to add next time)...this was great! I will never get store bought dressing ever again! Thanks for sharing!

This is the ONLY italian dressing mix I use. I don't buy it at the store. I just make this mix, put it in a jar, and use it in anything that calls for it!

Very good!! The only thing...too much salt. I just added a tablespoon and I found it was still a little too much. Next time I'll just add a half a tablespoon. Yummy!

My family and I found this to be a bit too strong as a dressing, but we marinated chicken in it the next day and it was amazing! I only marinated for a few hours and the taste was superb. This will be our BBQ chicken marinade from here on out!

This is a great recipe! I love having the dry ingredients on hand. I use this mainly for marinading chicken for grilling and/or pasta salad dressing. I also used powders instead of salts and didn't have the celery salt. Red wine vinegar and EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)! Keepin' and passin' along...............
