Easy to make on short notice. Add more time to the prep. I added sweet potato because I didn't have enough potatoes.

This stew was easy and delicious! I only changed it slightly. I added half an onion, 4 cloves garlic and added an extra cup of water. then topped with parmesan cheese! Thanks for the recipe!

I have enjoyed using this recipe because I usually have all the ingredients on hand except for red pepper. I often put leftover cooked chicken and all of the ingredients with a cup or two of water into a crock pot and let it cook all day instead of cooking it in a skillet. My whole family, kids included, like this dish

Takes a longer than 15 minutes to cook. Would fix this again. Could see changing it up with chicken sausage or using a different type of spag sauce.

I'm a college student, so my arsenal of cooking tools is significantly weaker than a standard kitchen, and thus I found that this recipe was perfect since it didnt involve a blender and it is very simple. I used Wegman's pasta sauce; Tomato and Basil, and I didnt include any more basil into the stew. All in all this is a nice stew, I added more crushed red peppers because I like things on the spicy side. One thing I changed was that after pouring the pasta sauce into a measuring cup, I then put water in it to rinse/get the rest of the sauce out, and then added a bit more water into the stew. I feel that otherwise it may have been too thick and a bit awkward to eat. I think that some melted cheddar cheese on top would be great as well, in addition to some crackers on the side. Thanks for the quick/yummy recipe . -UR_cook
