This bread was amazing. So easy, quick and the kids loved it. I didn't have the italian salad dressing so I used the spray type of Caesar dressing...so good. I served it with creamy tomato soup (rachel ray) for a meal that the whole family (ages 4-11) loved!

mmm mmm! So good. Almost like a cheese pizza. I was thinking about just having it for lunch tomorrow by itself! Very good as a side to a dinner though. Great recipe!

I loved this recipe! It tastes like a similar one I get from a local pizza restaurant...only instead of the italian dressing I made a garlic butter and spread it on and then topped with cheese...YUMMO!

This was as easy as it was delicious. I made a few very minor changes. I left out the Mozzerella and doubled the parmesan. I used hard parmesan reggiano which I grated myself. I also topped it with fresh basil and garlic. Instead of the 1 tsp salt I used a tsp of Sarah's Sea Salt, Tuscan flavor (I buy it on Amazon and it is TO DIE FOR). I think that really enhanced the end result quite a bit (it's my secret ingredient for a lot of recipes). All in all, a very quick and easy way to have delicious fresh bread to go with any Italian meal. It is also a very versatile recipe that you can easily adjust to suit your individual taste. Thanks so much for sharing this one!

This recipe was so easy and delicious! Everyone devoured them! A really tasty bread to go with almost any meal. I followed this recipe without changing anything (I am not much of a cook) and I will definitely be making this again.

I used this as an appetiser when we had friends round for dinner. My husband said that he would eat this as an accompianment to pasta as well. I did make my own italian dressing and as I only have small pizza pans I made it on a retangular baking pan. So we had Italian Bread Squares. Thankyou for an excellent recipe I will make again.

AMAZING! After the first time i made it..i kept making it over and over..made them into wedges and little round pieces..put alot of spices on top. I personally dont like bread with sugar..so i put just one (flattened out) teaspoon of sugar instead of two. I also tried putting the same spices with the dough itself as well as on top..which was great! Thanks so much!

This was okay...I was hoping it would be more of a flat bread though. Mine turned out pretty much like thick pizza crust.

Very good, very quick if you don't have time to make an actual Italian loaf. You can play around with the flavors on this one, add just about anything you want, and it would mnake a gereat pizza crust. I used swiss cheese and parmasain cheese.

Awesome! I wanted to serve a side dish to spaghetti, and this was perfect. I scaled it down to 9 servings (for 1 pkg of yeast), and changed the rest of the ingredients as follows: 1 pkg yeast (2-1/4 tsp yeast), 3/4 cup water, 3/4 tsp sugar, 1-1/2 TBS veg oil, 3/4 tsp salt, just shy of 2 cups flour (1-1/2 cups mixed in, and then kneading more in as necessary), around 1/4 cup Italian dressing, 1/3 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp oregano, 1/8 tsp thyme, no pepper, closer to 1 cup mozzarella, and an even (light) topping of Parmesan cheese. I used a pastry brush to spread the dressing, and I used two 9" cake pans instead of a pizza pan. I just divided the dough into two equal portions, flattened them, let them rest, and then gently flattened each into a Pam-sprayed non-stick cake pan. Took about 12 minutes at 425 degrees, and it was awesome! I think you could sub a garlic butter for the dressing if you wished. :) Thanks for sharing, Danielle!

This is delicious! Use fresh sauteed crushed garlic and rosemary as a nice alternative.
