Thank you for all of your great reviews!!Instead of using water, I now use Italian dressing! A small roast is never enough at my house! The bigger the better!!

This was great! and very easy. I used the beef broth and used the spicy pepper rings; after I filled the rolls I put provolone cheese on top and melted it in the broiler. Yummy! Will definately make this again.

This is the first recipe I've ever made using a slow cooker. So wonderful. I cooked it as per the recipe, but I ended up letting it simmer for about 12 hours and it was so tender! The flavor was fantastic with the beef. Loved it a bunch. However, there are only two of us, so we'll be eating on this meat for a while. This won't be a problem.

Yummy. My family and I enjoyed this very much. I also used Beef Broth instead of Water and used 2 packets plus dumped the pepper rings in along with other ingredients and let cook the whole time. It gives a good tang. I will make this again. I may put it over white rice for leftovers tomorrow.

This is a fantastic recipe!! The only thing I do diffrent is use beef broth, and a can of beer instead of the water. This gives it such a great flavor!!

So easy and I love that the crock pot doesn't heat up the kitchen in the summer. We use beef broth instead of water and add shredded mozzarella to the sandwiches. Yum!!

I've been making a very similar recipe since 2002 and it's always great. Mine is called'spicy french dip' uses a 3lb.beef sirloin tip roast, 1/2 c. water, 1 4oz. can diced jalapeno peppers, drained; l envelope Italian salad dressing mix. Cook in slow cooker 8-10 hrs. Serve on 12 crusty rolls.

These were delicious! I actually did not use water, but used a regular sized can of beef broth instead. I think this is a must. I also dumped the jar of peppers (including juice) in at the same time of everything else and this really flavored the meat well. I only used 1 envelope of Italian dressing mix b/c I didn't want the meat too salty- this worked for us and was still seasoned very well. Make sure to toast your hoagies in the oven or they get soggy. We topped with provolone chesse. Yummy!
