I loved this it was perfect for a chilly day really warms the tummy.... dont forget to scrub your potatoes realllly well before adding them to your stew, just saying.

I make this every St. Patrick's Day. Sometimes I use a beef bouillon and add wine as the liquid.

I love lamb stew and this was a lot like the one I was raised with but not quite. My mother is Greek and they make one I likebetter. Add some tomato and artichokes to it. Don't forget the oregano, garlic and lemon juice of course if you go the Greek style.

I found this to be a little flat on flavor for my taste. A good base recipe, I think. But I ended up adding a little of this and a little of that to make it to my liking.

This recipe is fantastic. Simple ingredients, low sodium, stores well, and absolutely delicious. I'd love to see a slow-cooker variant of this recipe.

Yummi! Double the meat, actually double everything. I put it in the crock pot on low for 8 hrs- it was so good there was not enough for leftovers!
