Original Recipe Yield 1 - 9 inch pie
 

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup Irish cream liqueur
  • 1 1/3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups macadamia nuts
  • 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie

Directions

  1. Cream together eggs, salt, sugar, and butter or margarine. Blend in corn syrup and liqueur. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Pour filling into pie shell.
  2. Bake in a preheated 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) oven for 1 1/2 hours, or until browned. Cool.
