Eliminated nuts (made for a bake sale). Unbelievably delicious, assuming you like Irish Cream. You can definitely taste it! I made this for a bakesale at my husband's office and he asked me to make another because some people didn't get to taste and he wanted to prevent an uprising. Also many requests for the recipe... a definite winner. Also, I have used the Williams Sonoma Bee Hive pan and the cake is very easily removed... so I wouldn't hesitate to use this in any other 'shaped' pans.

This cake was great...I glazed it the the orginal glaze first, and then made a powdered sugar glaze, for a great look.

I made this for a girl friend's birthday and she loved it! I subbed the cake mix with a reduced sugar one and the pudding with sugar free because her roomie is diabetic and it was still great!

Although I don't usually make cake from a mix, this was just the right recipe for a large crowd. I made it with my own Irish cream liqueur.

This was a really easy cake to make. The glaze turned out well, and I just kept brushing it on. It eventually all soaked in and hardened to a nice soft glaze just like on a donut. Everyone loved it. I did not use the pecans, or any nuts. I found it did not taste too much like Bailey's, but was good just the same. I would definitely make this again simply for the ease of making it.

For Christmas dinner this year, I was in charge of dessert. I chose this recipe based on the great reviews. It is always scary to make something for the first time for a big event. Well, this is a winner! I followed the recipe exactly. I opted to glaze the cake, putting the remaining sauce in a bowl of people wanted extra on their piece, which of course they did. My son has already requested it. My husband (seriously, he is a head chef) said this cake was fantastic. This was awesome.

I loved this cake, although I made a couple small changes (chocolate pudding to give a more homemade look). I took it camping and it was gone so fast. Everyone loved it and asked for more on our next camping trip.

This is the tastiest, albeit, ugliest thing I have ever made but that is my fault, not the recipes. The cake itself turned out fantastic without making any changes! But when I went to make the glaze I overcooked it. I could have overcome this but instead I poured the glaze into the pan and stuck the cake back in. As a result the glaze turned into a giant, hard lump on top. I would recommend if you are unfamiliar with making glazes, do not try the cake-back-in-the-pan-and-let-it-site method of glazing. I am familiar with glazes and allowed this mistake to happen! That being said - I'm on my way down to the store right now to get ingredients to remake it. It's just that good!

This cake did bake up beautifully. It rose well, it's moist and really lovely to look at. It does have a nice taste but it's very, very sweet. The addition of the glaze makes it sickly sweet, unfortunately. I would recommend not glazing this at all.

This cake is awesome! I make it every year for the holidays (Christmas and Easter for sure). It's perfect as written. Be sure to beat it for the full five minutes, it makes a difference! I've tried a chocolate version of this, using choc. cake mix, choc. pudding, and Kahlua and it was outstanding!

I followed the recipe exactly, and it is wonderful. I wouldn't change a thing. I end up with more glaze than needed, so I'll probably cut the glaze in half next time.
