I wanted to make an easy dessert to bring over to my in-laws' house for Easter dinner. This recipe really fit the bill - it was really rich and tasty, and everyone loved it! I'll definitely be making it again! I just drizzled the glaze over the top after poking holes in the cake - it was too sticky to brush on. Yum!

Great recipe!!! Made this for Easter, everyone loved it. I was afraid of the glaze, I thought it would make it to mushy so I did not put it all on. I wish I would of, it would of made it that much better.

I added the entire cup of Bailey's to the batter to give it an extra kick. Deeelicious, made this twice within 3 days around St. Patricks Day and it was inhaled everytime.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, for posting this recipe. I made this today for the adults at my daughters birthday party. There is no cake left, and I had to give the recipe to several people. I did omit the water and used a full cup of Irish Cream. This cake was so yummy! I will be making this again....SOON!

Everyone loved it for st pats day at dad's. Poked holes in top and sides and soaked in pan with glaze for about 10 minutes, then spread remaining on top and around.

Yum, Yum, Yum! Need to figure out how to get the glaze less "grainy." Next time try with chocolate pudding and mint chocolate Baileys. Great Cake!

Excellent cake! Great Irish Cream flavor and wonderful texture. A big hit with my husband, a former chef, who usually won't even try "cake mix" cakes. Delicious!

I made this recipe using a chocolate cake mix and chocolate pudding. It was delicious! I left off the pecans because they didn't seem to fit the recipe. Will definitely make again.

OMG!!!! OMG!!!! This is incredible!!! I made a batch of mint brownies for St. Paddy's Day and was very disappointed with the end result. I was still craving something "minty" and came across this recipe. What is better than Bailey's Irish cream on St. Paddy's Day (or in my case, a few days after the fact...)?!??!? My bf didn't care for this, but he doesn't like Baileys (I've declared that he is just plain wierd - haha!). I made this in my new Williams-Sonoma heritage bundt pan. I wish I would have taken a picture before we cut into it :) My only change to this recipe was to add about a cup of mini chocolate chips that I wanted to clear out of my cupboard. Next time, I think I'll prepare this in my regular stoneware bundt pan and in place of the nuts called for, add regular sized chocolate chips on the top of the cake (bottom of bundt pan) as Eagle A did. I also will pour a bit of the glaze over the top and brush the rest on as directed (this time, to preserve the pretty shape of my cake, I just brushed it on... which worked fine and made for a very nice presentation!). Oh, and I will mix my chocolate chips in the batter AFTER it has been mixed (it's just easier this way IMHO). I served generous slices with some Baileys to wash it down :) Thanks so much for sharing such a WONDERFUL recipe. I will be making this for St. Paddy's Day and at Christmastime from now on and am planning on taking leftovers to my parents to share this Wednesday!!!

I made this for a party we have when the St. Paddy's Day Parade takes place near your home. I put it in the garage refrig. and with all the people and festivities I forgot to take it out. The next day during clean up my husband found it. It was the best coffee cake ever! I think that the extra day did the cake a favor. It soaked up all the icing I had poured over it right and it went through to the middle. It was moist but not musy and the pecans at the bottom are a must have. They add a nice crunchy topping and the Irish cream liquor gave it a wonderful flavor. I will make this again for my next parade party and maybe I might share it with the guests:)

This cake is amazingly good! Followed the exact recipe for the cake except added extra pecans mixed with a little brown sugar and cinnamon in the bottom of the pan and more in the middle of the batter as well. I wasn't sure about the glaze ingredients so I used the butter, with confectioner's sugar, a little vanilla and milk instead of water. Still added the irish cream to the glaze & it was very rich and very good. Thanks for a great recipe that I will use again!

This is a very good cake! I only used half of the glaze because my husband doesn't like things to get soggy! But I wish I had used it all! It's very good!

Excellent recipe!! I took the suggestion of using chocolate pudding. I made mine in mini bundt pans so that I could share with neighbors, otherwise I would have eaten it all!! :-)

YUMMY! This was great. Followed the recipe but as other said I put the glaze in the pan and them put the cake back in the pan. I poured some on the bottom of the cake while it soaked up the glaze. I don't know if this was really a glaze, but it was sure good.

The hit of my St. Pats party! Incredibly moist and delicious. I also poured glaze in pan and returned the cake to the pan to let it soak up the glaze. Absolutely perfect. Even my husband loved it and he doesn't usually like dessert that doesn't have chocolate in it!
