Not the best curry ever. It left a really gross taste in my mouth, but I have to say, it did taste good with a lot of plain rice and just a small amount of the sauce mixed in. Neither my husband or I liked the curry, but my 1 year old loved it, so I guess that says something, lol.

this was good. i was nervous to add the lemon because the sauce was bitter but i did and it somehow helped round out the taste. DONT LEAVE IT OUT! there was a slight bitterness to mine. i am wondering if i would have used a higher quality curry powder that would have benn prevented. i added zucchini and a yellow squash. i will try it again with some potatoes and a tomato to make it more of a one pot meal.

AWESOME recipe, though I of course made a few alterations: Took the advice of some other reviewers and added a red pepper and a large potato (subsequently halved the chicken since you don't need as much with that much vegetable). Also added more curry powder (5 tablespoons instead of 3), and for simplicity sake I used a small cup of plain yogurt (bout 1/2 a cup) and a whole can of coconut milk (bout 1 1/2 cup) instead of measuring stuff out. Finally I used a whole teaspoon of cayenne pepper instead of just half, for a little extra heat. Enjoy!

Excellent curry recipe, but it definitely needs some kind of veggie.

This was not a terrible recipe, but it didn't seem like the Indian food I've had in restaurants. There was something off about the flavor and I followed the recipe exactly. It was good...just not what I expected.

This recipe turned out almost exactly liked I hoped it would! I did make a few changes, though. I did just a pinch of cinnamon and sugar and I skipped the lemon juice at the end. I also added potatoes when I added the chicken but I think that made a lot of the liquid get absorbed so I might adjust the liquid ingredients next time so it's not so thick. I also added an extra Tbsp. of curry powder, a fair amount of salt and a little thai chili garlic sauce for some extra heat. I threw in some mushrooms and carrots towards the end and they were a nice addition. My husband definitely wants to add this to our meal rotation!

This was good. I doubled it and used skinless legs. I did not add the cayenne for the kids. This was very good.

This is by far my favorite chicken curry recipes I have ever made. It was really easy, very quick to prepare. I made this particular recipe for my roommate who had never eaten Indian food before, and she loved it! I served it with Saffron Rice and iced black tea with honey. It was fantastic!

Yummy! So I didnt have everything so I had to modify (sorry). I used almost 2tbsp curry(almost out) and for the rest used tumeric and cumin. I didn't have an onion (would have made it better) so I added white kidney beans with the chicken. I also upped the tomato paste(3 tbsp) a little and didnt used any coconut milk (healthier plus didnt have any). I also added about a cup of frozen spinach. And at first I thought the cinnamon was too strong but after you add the lemon and cayenne pepper it milds it out, but I woul probally use less cinnamon next time. Again sorry I changed so much but just shows this has great structure and you can modify easily.
