Fairly easy to do, tasted alright, but not an OMG gotta do this again kind of thing. I doubled the sauce 'cause we like things saucey. I tasted it when it was almost done and realized that it was pretty boring as is. So I added one 28 oz can of drained, diced tomatoes and one 14 oz can of drained peas. Instead of cayenne, I added pepper flakes while it was simmering. Thanks, but we will continue to look for another indian curry recipe.

This is an excellent recipe. I think I need to tweak it a little more to make it 5 stars even though for many it will already be 5 stars. I doubled the recipe except for the chicken and added potatoes and carrots. I think I added too much lemon juice for me. I didn't have a fresh lemon so I added 1/4 of bottled. Next time I am going to double again the coconut milk back off the cayenne and lemon juice. I'll get it right. Basically I'm saying it was the cook and not the recipe... Thanks for great start...

This dish was incredible! It was very easy to make and my husband LOVED it. In his words, this dish has a whole lot of taste, but is not overwhelming or too spicy. He is a connoisseur of Indian and Middle Eastern food and said this was one of the best he's ever had. I left our the cayenne pepper because I did not have any on hand, but it still turned out great. Thanks for the fantastic recipe!

Very nice - easy prep, pretty goof-proof. I needed a recipe for 40 (!), and this was very straightforward to make. Fresh lemon in at the end, along with the cayenne, adds zip, but for people who are less adventurous, you can leave out the cayenne (or add less) and it still is flavorful. A great find!

I've tried a few of the curry recipes on here and this is by far one of the better ones. I doubled the recipe and added some additional curry and tossed in some broccoli at the end, but otherwise followed it pretty close. Great sauce and the cayanne peper and lemon at the end definately adds a little something. This has now been in my dinner rotation. Mmmm MMMM

I made it exactly as the recipe stated and it was a very good but it was spicy. I had to put in some extra yogurt to make it more mild. Make sure to shake the can of coconut milk before using in the recipe.

This was very good. My only complaint here was that the coconut milk made it very bland, so then i had to go back and add moer than twice the amount of spices specified. GREAT recipe, I'm just going to try half or a third of the coconut milk next time.

I made this dish today for my husband and I. I cut the recipe in half, as I thought 4 servings would be too much for 2 people, it turns out that even 4 servings probably wouldn't have been enough. Even with rice and naan bread, it was barely enough food for 2 people. We also both found that the recipe seemed gritty. It wasn't the worst curry I've ever had, but it definitely wasn't the best.. I made the recipe to the letter, and it seemed off. Perhaps with more coconut milk the spices may have melted more, and the extra milk would have made it so the sauce didn't turn out like a paste. It wasn't bad.. but it wasn't curry.

This was really good. I followed another posters advice and heated up the curry powder first, then gradually added the other spices, heating them up. I don't know if this made a significant difference because I hadn't made this the original way, but it was very good. I used Hot Curry Powder by Penzey's, which I think makes a difference. I also added a couple more tablespoons of curry powder for additional spice. It was excellent, and simple. I think next time I'll add peas and maybe another vegetable, and extra chicken. Cilantro would probably be an excellent addition, as well.

I used this recipe as a guide when making chicken curry for 80pp. Everyone loved the dish and 2 attendees from India claimed it was very authentic.

The first time I made this, I must have overheated it. It became very thick and my husband and I could hardly eat it because this texture intensified the flavor so dramatically. The second time, I was much more careful and (happily) the curry was saucier and wonderful!

so good... I ommitted the cayenne pepper and lemon juice at the end because it was already perfect. I also pre-fried the spices before adding the oil and other ingredients, as suggested by another reviewer.

I have made this dish 5 or so times and every time I make it, everyone is impressed. It requires basic cooking skills and tastes like curry you would get at a restaurant.

I enjoyed this recipe and found it easy to make however it did seem to be lacking something. Next time I make it I will add some more veg and a hot chilli. It has potential but for me it needs a little tweeking.
