I used panko, so I added my own seasoning and I think I added a bit too much. I used sharp cheddar cheese cubes and really couldn't taste the cheese, surprisingly enough. Overall it was still pretty good. I made 1/2 the recipe and cooked it on 400 for 50 minutes. Not sure if I'd make it again or not.

This was delish, even according to my picky 3 year old. I only had 1.3lbs of meat, so had to adjust the recipe slightly. I added more spices and a handful of oatmeal also. And on top I criss crossed ketchup and carolina style BBQ sauce. Came out so good and moist!

I followed this recipe and it came out very mushy! It had a good flavor, but I want a more firm meatloaf. I will try it again and see if it turns out the same.

This was wonderful! I used cheddar because I had it in the fridge but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. Fast and easy to make.

I made this for a potluck and everyone enjoyed it. After reading thru reviews I did make a few suggested alterations. 1. Added a packet of Onion soup mix. Omitted salt and pepper. 2. Beat egg and milk together and soaked the bread crumbs in this. 3. 2 cups of Colby/Jack cheese blend(shredded) 4. Mixed ketchup and bbq sauce together for the top coating. 5. Divided and made into 2 loaves and baked in a 13x9 inch pan. It was wonderful, and I will be making this again very soon. Thanks for the gr8 recipe.

Very delicious recipe! My 12 year old daughter and her friend said they don't like meatloaf, until I had them try this recipe. What a hit!!! I used monterey jack cheese instead, because I didn't have Colby jack, and added italian seasoning to plain bread crumbs, which turned out just fine. I love the little pockets of cheese throughout, it was so delicious. Thanks for the recipe!

This didn't turn out well for us though I really wanted it to. I ended up cooking it longer than normal to try to get it to firm up. The flavor wasn't bad, the texture on the other hand was terrible. It was too moist and downright mushy. My husband had a good point that we grew up on our grandma's "depression era" meatloaf. Perhaps our expectations of what meatloaf should be just didn't mesh with this version.
