"This is a good 'take-along' dish, for the reason that it is good hot, warm, room temperature or cold! You can also make a salad, vegetable and/or rice if desired and have a quick, easy dinner."

Ingredients

  • 1 (4 pound) chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Arrange chicken skin side up in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Season with garlic salt to taste. Then sprinkle with brown sugar and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. If chicken appears to be browning too much and getting dry, cover with foil for the last 15 to 20 minutes of baking.

Not bad, but the brown sugar really overwhelms the garlic flavor. Try adding extra garlic.
