Because you don't need to fuss with a crust, this twist on the classic Thanksgiving standby may be the easiest pie you've ever prepared. 'I'm a working mother a rely on this moist dessert every year for the holidays,' says Linda Cummings of Atoka, Tennessee.

There 's a lot of brown sugar in this version of pumpkin pie. There are also lots of eggs in it, so the filling is rich and sweet and bakes lovely. This recipe is generous enough to make two pies.

Why resist? You know you can't make it through Thanksgiving without a slice of moist, delicious pumpkin pie smothered with whipped topping! Make sure the edges of your crust are high, as this recipe creates a generous amount of filling.

For this delicious version of the classic, milk is stirred into the pumpkin puree, so that it 's a bit lighter than others. And if you want to make it with low-fat milk, that would work, too. This recipe makes enough filling for two 9-inch pies.

Here is a simple, uncomplicated melding of canned pumpkin with sugar, cinnamon, eggs and milk, baked in the crust of your choice. A dollop of whipped cream is all the frou-frou you need.

This is a spicier version of pumpkin pie. This recipe has been in our family for over 50 years and is always much enjoyed at holiday meals. The fresher your spices, the better this will taste! Serve with whipped topping, if desired.
