I made these to enjoy with our family on Halloween night, and they were a big hit. My mother-in-law loved them so much she said that I could give them to her as a gift! They are definitely more cake-like than cookie-like.

I adore these cookies! I usually don't prefer the more cakey cookies like this recipe makes, but they taste so good that I know I will be making these year round, not just as a fall novelty.

These cookies are super yummy!!! They taste like pumpkin bread, but cookies! I also used pumpkin pie spice instead and added cinnamon to the frosting. Delish!

This recipe was a big hit with family and friends. proclaimed this is the best pumpkin cookie recipe yet! MY grandkids loved it. Made a double batch and then had to do a single batch for our house. And we found our 14 month old granddaughter with the container stuffing her mouth full. :)

My kids are picky eaters, and would never try anything new, especially pumpkin cookies. They loved them and finished them off with the rest of the neighborhood in one day! These are definatly something I will be making again.

I thought these were pretty good. I did however think they had a cake like consistancy rather a cookie one. If you want to make them a bit more spicier, try adding 1 tea cinnamon, 1/8 tea nutmeg, 1/2 tea ginger, and 1/2 tea ground cloves to 1/2 the icing. paint on the recipes icing, then drizzle the spicire icing-its really great!

These cookies were a huge hit at my party. I liked the cookies better with out icing but everyone else liked them with the icing. Just the right amount of softness but still firm enough to pick up. I will make these again for sure!

The best pumpkin cookies! Soft, spicy, flavorful.. perfect! I made them without icing, they're sweet enough.

I am an early childhood teacher. We made these in class today. The children loved them. We made them into a bar instead of cookies- just used a jelly roll pan. We also frosted them with a little cream cheese frosting. The children wanted seconds! Now all the staff want the recipe too. Great recipe.

Excellent cookies! My 2 best critics (my kids) rated them for me and I agree. I used cream cheese frosting, as it is my fav. I'll try the icing next time. I did use the 1/2 cup brown sugar as recommended because it made sense for flavors' sake.
