Wow! I can't believe I ran across this recipie too!! This looks like my grandmothers old recipe that I never got and absolutely loved!!! Brings back memories!! Thank you!!! Haven't made them yet but soo excited to try them!! she used to put a half a walnut on the top of each of them and we would have them for our 4 o clock snack before dinner. : )

Chris, You saved me. I couldn't find my deceased Grandma's Icebox cookie recipe and wanted to include it in special family recipe albums I am making for Christmas for my three grown children! I am so happy to have found yours as I am sure it's the same! You made my day!

This is a fantastic recipe that is very easy to put together. My 2 and 4 year old kept snitching at the batter and had fun rolling the cookies in the wax paper.
