Fabulously easy and delicious. I just used Rhodes frozen dinner rolls and cut them in half. And I did cut the amount of sugar in half and used low-fat ice cream. Thanks for the recipe.

So easy and SO yummy. I used the suggestion and heated the topping before and then refrigerated them overnight. Work perfectly!! Next time I think I will try rolling them in cinnamon and sugar like one of the others suggestions because I think that would just add to the flavor!

Very sweet, but that's to be expected with sticky buns. I figured I'd give them a shot as we have a ton of ice cream in the freezer and don't eat it often, so it gets a bit old. I used the last of a carton of berry granola crunch (we don't have vanilla ice cream right now) and it was great. Maybe next time I'll use the mint chocolate chip ice cream we have. I was a little worried they'd be soggy, but they dry up a little after sitting for a bit so it's all good. I used the same amount of everything except dough--I used half the dough and used a 8x8 pan, but it still turned out well. I lovethat this uses ice cream and I can use whatever dough I like--I used bread machine pizza dough, actually--and it works great. I'm going to give away the rest as we don't need the calories, but it's not because we don't like it, because we do. Thanks for the recipe!

WOW! I prepped this the night before Mother's Day (used frozen cinnamon rolls) and refrigerated overnight. The hubby set them out the next morning for one hour before baking. What a Mother's Day treat! They will definately be a special occasion treat, I can't imagine how many calories I consumed that day.

mmmmm mmmmm good! made just a few changes: used frozen dinner rolls cut into 1/3rds as suggested by another reviewer, and that worked out really well. also rolled the dough pieces in cinnamon/sugar before putting them in the pan. i used an 8x8 baking pan instead of a 9x13, it seemed like the dough fit better. overall, this recipe was great--will definitely make again!

I added cinnamon and decreased the amount of sugars a bit, I think I could have even used less... Maybe three- quarters cup total next time at most. I melted the ice cream and margarine in the microwave in the glass baking pan the bread dough was thawed in, then added the sugars and cinnamon. My boys really enjoyed this, and I think it could easily be adapted to use canned dough if you want.

These were great, very sweet and the frozen bread made for a light not dense sticky bun. Thanks for a great, simple to make sticky bun recipe

Very quick and easy!! I cut down the white sugar a little, and used a 1 lb package of frozen dinner roll dough. I thawed a little and cut each roll into 1/4. Perfect for the kids to help themselves. Thanks so much for sharing!!

This was good and very easy to make, but I probably won't make again. I have too many other dessert recipes that I prefer.

These are wonderful! I add crushed pecans and raisins to the mixture. I pour enough of the mixture on the bottom of the pan to cover it and then add the pieces of dough and then cover with remaining mixture. Great for the whole family.

Oh my goodness! These are delicious! Just because we like it, I added 2 tbsp of cinnamon to the sugar/cream mixture. I agree with the other reviewer that you could easily cut back on the sugars as it turns out very sweet. Next time I make this, I may experiment with other flavors of ice cream besides vanilla-maybe Butter Brickle, Cinnamon, or Caramel ice cream. Possibilities are endless. YUM!

DELICIOUS but sweet!! I had a small amount of vanilla ice I needed to get rid of and found this recipe. I cut both sugars back by half. I cut my pieces smaller so I got more than 36 pieces. I also did this so as not to have any uncooked pieces in the center. I let rise for 1 hour but mine did not double in size. I see there is no Nutritional Information listed for this recipe cause I'm sure I'd think twice before making this!

Yum. I used Rhodes frozen dinner rolls halved. Also added a tsp of cinnamon. Poured over rolls before rising. Turned out fantastic!

We make this every Christmas! Only we cook the butter, ice-cream, and sugars until the sugars are dissolved. Once the mixture cools, we pour it over the bread chunks in a buttered pan and let it sit (covered) in the fridge overnight. We also thaw the bread just enough to be able to cut it up, but it is still stiff. In the morning we let them rise and then bake them for a quick Christmas morning treat while the other foods cook. WE LOVE THEM!
