Cream cheese is blended into the marshmallow and gelatin base for this recipe. Fruit, nuts and whipped topping are folded into the creamy mixture and allowed to chill before serving.

A friend taught me to make this years ago - without a recipe. It is very quick and easy. The sweet, creamy salad is great as a cool, refreshing side dish or dessert.

Sweet and delightful! Pears are filled with mayonnaise and cheese, then topped off with a festive cherry. A sure party pleaser.

Autumn Apple Salad

This sparkling salad is creamy and slightly tart. Nuts and celery add texture. Not only do adults love it, so do the kids! Cut the finished salad into squares and serve on crisp leaves of lettuce. Adjust the amount of nuts, if desired.

This is a nice molded gelatin salad that looks quite wonderful when un-molded. Lime gelatin is dissolved in pear juice and then folded into beaten cream cheese and chilled. Just before placing in a mold, whipped topping and pureed pears are folded in. Makes six generous, sweet servings.

It's not Thanksgiving until someone serves the lime gelatin salad! Pineapple and mild longhorn cheese make this salad the best you'll ever taste.

Lime Gelatin Salad I

This is a great recipe my mom got from my aunt. She has made it every year for Thanksgiving. It is a family tradition for us. It can be made a day or two ahead of time, if you like. It looks just beautiful in a cut crystal bowl. Thanksgiving is not the same without it for us! We just 'gobble' it up! Chopped walnuts can be substituted for chopped pecans.
