This soup was absolutely "DELISH". My husband is very picky & he loved it as well...my 6-year old, not so much, but more for us! The only change I made was substituting beef broth for the chicken broth. I wish I'd doubled the recipe!

This was a great recipe! Both my husband and I loved it, I made a couple of changes by adding carrots and celery to the onions and mushrooms and towards the end I threw in some noodles and chicken to make it a little more of a complete meal.

A very good soup recipe! I had to add some garlic salt to give it a little moe flavor, but other than that I followed the recipe exactly. I will start to include this one in the regular soup rotation!

Wow! I never thought that mushroom soup could taste this good. My only modifications were using plain yogurt instead of the sour cream. Enjoy!

Had this soup at a dinner party recently. It was prepared by a friend who is an excellent cook. She said she used half milk and half 1/2 & 1/2. Other than that the recipe was followed faithfully. It was really outstanding. I thought it could benefit from a dash or two of sherry.

This is hands down the best mushroom soup I have EVER put in my mouth! I LOVE mushrooms and this is the perfect mushroom lover dish. It has a very strong flavor so don't try it if you're looking for something plain and bland and if you only "kinda" like mushrooms. I used baby bellas and pureed the soup before adding the sour cream. My family didn't enjoy it at all, but I was happy! More for me! :)

I usually add some flank steak and potatoes to this soup. I cook the steak and then add about a cup of water and let it simmer to make a quick broth. My Russian husband loves this authentic gribovnitsa with a huge dollop of sour cream!

Bravo! It is rare that I don't "tinker" with a recipe, but with this one, it was definitely unnecessary! My fiance requested that I make this dish. I had not ever sampled this kind of soup, but I was blown away by the results! As mentioned, I made no changes. It is truly rich, scrumptious and wonderful as written! Take it from a true "foodie" ~ this one is worth giving a try! Thank you HAMM for a fantastic recipe!

One of our favorite recipes. Actually it's my girfriend's favorite and she's asked for it so many times I'm almost getting sick of it. But it's a great combination of flavors. I would reccomend though making sure that the mushrooms reach your desired level of firmness before adding the broth as it can make a difference. Also know that some paprikas can be quite spicy so adjust accordingly.
