Yummy! I didn't have all the veggies on hand, so I made due with the onions and extra peas. The kids liked it and so did I.

Excellent. I used brown rice and it came out superb. I also cooked the rice prior to so it was cold when it was time to fry. Healthy and delicious alternative to take out. Thank you!

I did not add any meats, because I served this as a side-dish, but I did cook the rice in chicken broth for added flavour. That said, this was very bland, and I will not make it again.

Sorry, I was not impressed. I made the recipe exactly as written. This recipe lacks flavor and texture. Although easy to assemble it was not a pleasent eating experience.

I've never made fried rice before so this was a new adventure. It was really really good! I cooked and cooled the rice in the fridge. I then fried up the onions (white and green) and garlic together until brown with 2T of sesame oil, 1T olive oil. Added carrots, chicken and ham. Fried it up until it popped alot. Added soy sauce. Stirred it into the cooled rice. Added two eggs to the pan and cooked. Added that to the rice. Waited until we were ready to eat and then put the whole thing back in the pan to heat up. We were also having mandarin oranges so I added a little of the juice to it. I served it with General Tso chicken from the hot deli at the store. My husband and I loved it, kids not so much. More for us!

Winner! This rice dish was outstanding. I only used chicken and it tasted exactly like the Chicken Fried Rice I get when I do Chinese take-out. I have tried making fried rice before, and never could get that authentic taste until this. The sesame oil is the trick. I am getting ready to heat up leftovers for my breakfast!! Sounds crazy, but I just can't wait! Thank you Lynda. It was wonderful.

I thought this was just okay. I didn't use shrimp and maybe that's why, but there didn't seem to be anything too special or different about this fried rice than any other.

Loved this one. I make an asian marinated beef and chop it up to top the rice. It's great together.

Great, easy and fast. Sometimes the simplest meals are the best. I used celery, green pepper, sweet onion and garlic and because I served it to my 2 y.o's i cooked all veggies together before adding 1# shrimp. Then I added a package of precooked brown rice and shitake mushrooms we had picked up. I decreased the amount of soy sauce and used 2 eggs.

I use hamburger meat only. That's the way my family likes this dish. I take it to potlucks and I don't have any leftovers.

This was pretty good. Made it for supper last night. I did not add any ham because I really dont care for it in a stir fry recipe, everything else I kept the same. Very good and will make again!
