Another way to cook the Broccoli is to throw it in with the Tortellini for the last few minutes of the boil. Works out perfect every time.

One of my all-time favorite recipes! My mom has been making a version of this since I can remember, but she puts more veggies in hers...corn, peas, carrots and broccoli. She also used a jar of alfredo sauce instead of sour cream, but the sour cream is a nice change. Fantastic take on one of my favs....and SO simple too!

This recipe was quick and delicious. I also added a little garlic powder and I didn't have any basil so I used 1 tsp. of italian seasoning. My kids and husband liked this alot and they tend to be picky eaters.

I doubled the recipe and found it to be a really easy, simple meal.... and yummy to boot! I omitted the ham because we didn't have any and I was looking for something to throw together fast with what I had on hand.

Quick, easy, delicious AND kid-friendly? That's why I gave it 5 stars. My daughter's not a big fan of ham, so I dice slami in hers instead.

My family really enjoyed this. The broccoli can overcook in the microwave if it is high powered like mine so watch it. Also, if you are making this as a main dish (as I was) and planning on feeding 6 you'll want to double it. It really doesn't make a whole lot. Love to find a simple recipe that tastes great!

I am absolutely FLOORED! This recipe came out so deliciously. I have to admit, I did not have high hopes, but I did have a lot of leftover ham to use up. I found this recipe, and WOW. So good. Didn't change a single thing about it, except for a sprinkle of garlic powder. This is by far the simplest, quickest recipe I have made from this site that turned out so well (and I've made a bunch). I haven't yet tried it cold, but I bet it's good that way, too. Thank you!!!

I tweaked this recipe just a bit by using broccoli, cauliflower, and carrot mix and I added 1/4 cup parm cheese, 1 clove garlic and some Old Bay Seasoning. I enjoyed this and even got my 3 year old son to eat it.

I followed the recipe to a T and it came out lovely. I did double it, though, to be the main entree for tonight's supper. Super easy and fast. The best compliment, however is what my kids had to say...."This is better than macaroni and cheese (their all-time favorite)!!"
