Very good dip! The bacon gives it a nice twist. To save time (and mess), I purchase pre-cooked bacon. It also takes great with turkey bacon

Our group of 7 found this to be WAY too salty!!. Did I use the wrong parmesan cheese? I used Kraft grated(in the green can). Would shredded be better-not as salty? I did not have the garlic cheese spread, so I used cream cheese with garlic powder added. Maybe that was the problem?? Since so many people love this dip, I figured I did something wrong. I will try it again but with different cheeses. Plus it took me a LOT LONGER that 10 minutes to make it--just cooking the bacon takes longer than that.

this may be the best spinach artichoke dip I have made ... my only recommendation is to add the bacon to the top of the dip just before baking it, that way it won't get mushy in the dip ... this was a huge hit at Xmas this year.

Very thick, but delicious. Not garlicky enough for my taste, but I'm sure the garlic is meant to be subtle. Didn't see that it said to chop up the artichokes, but I did anyways- seemed to work out much better. A big hit for Christmas.

This is, hands down, the BEST spinach dip I have ever made or tasted. Brought it to a Christmas get-together and everyone raved about it. I used an 8oz. container of chive-n-onion cream cheese in place of the garlic-herb cheese spreak... excellent!

I served this for Christmas lunch and everyone loved it. Plus, it's SO easy!! I omitted the bacon but it still turned out great. I served it with little sourdough bread slices (toasted). Will definitely make again.

I don't like artichokes, but I LOVED this recipe! The bacon was a nice twist, and I also threw the artichokes and spinach in the food processor to decrease the stringy spinach and chunkier artichokes. Everyone loved it, and I've had multiple requests for the recipe. Thanks Mrs. Seals!!!

This was SO delicious! The bacon bits made it even tastier. I had to make a copy of the recipe for quite a few people already! YUMM!

Came out really well! Since the recipe made so much, I split it in half and froze half of it for a later date. I did add more spinach for texture. The mayo and the sour cream could be reduced slighty (if you prefer sour cream, then just add less mayo and visa vera!) Came out so good!

I made this for a Fourth of July BBQ, and everyone raved. It was gone in less than 15 minutes! I combined the spinach and artichokes in my food processor, and chopped them first before adding in all the dairy. I used Tastefully Simple's Bacon Bacon in place of the bacon strips. This will be my most requested item for potlucks, I just know!

Very good. I made it for a lunch with a friend today with crackers. We both loved it. I used Real Bacon pieces instead of cooking the bacon. And I think next time I would use chopped spinach....too stringy otherwise and messy. I also put the artichoke hearts in the blender and chopped them up first. Excellent flavor and know I will make it again and again. Thanks!
