Very tasty spiced apple cider. Upped the yield twice its size to a gallon, and added the zest of the orange.

I made this in the crockpot b/c all the notes about it ruining coffeemakers scared me. It turned out okay, but didnt seem spicy enough. One change I'll make next time is to heat it on the stove first, strain out the allspice & cloves and then put in a crockpot. Its best not to gag your guests with whole spices :)

This is delicious! Threw in another cinnamon stick, orange sliced about a 1/4 inch, and a few more cloves. Simmered in a pot on the stove for about 30 min before serving. Everyone got an orange slice and a cinnamon stick. It was a big hit. The only complaint is that it went too fast. Will have to double the recipe when I make it again at the holidays. Thanks and enjoy.

I made this last year for Thanksgiving and all of my guests loved it. I let it simmer all day in a crock pot. I can't wait to make it again this year!

I made this last fall for a party and everyone loved it. I just thought of this the other day, and I'm going to make it again. I didn't put allspice in or the orange. Great tasting cider. I ran water through my coffee pot a few times after making this.

This is the most DELICIOUS cider recipe! I make it every fall when it starts to turn cool. All of my friends love it and can't wait till it's cold enough for me to make this famous cider. It's so easy to make, and I can't tell you how wonderful it is.

This had a GREAT taste, but completely blocked my coffee maker! I cleaned it 3 separate times and ended up having to throw away. I think the brown sugar carmelized from the heat in the filter basket. I am glad it was a cheap coffee maker!!! Don't know what I could have done differently.

Great Christmas party drink. We had this at our annual ornament exchange and it was spiced very nicely. I didn't add any sugar because I like the natural flavor of apple juice. Sugar wasn't necessary at all. Everyone loved it!

Use the crockpot! Made for my Christmas party- excellent. The house smelled wonderful. I kept the unused portion in the slow cooker on low the next couple days and it made a fragrant Christmas potpourri.

This cider was very good and easy to make. I dumped everything in a large pot and simmered it for 1/2 hour, which I think is easier than putting it into the coffee pot. I made a few minor changes: I used 1-1/2 cups of orange juice in place of the orange. Added some extra brown sugar and some ground ginger and NO salt. I don't know what the salt is for! It turned out great and perfect for my holiday open house! Thank you for the great recipe!

This is excellent. The first time I maded it I used apple juice and the second time I made it I used apple cider. It was much better with the cider. I didn't make it in the coffee pot because ours is a Bunn and it has a resevior of water so the cider would have been diluted. I made it in my crockpot instead.

This was not bad and was pretty simple, but I'm still looking for one that is similar to the one I had at Hobee's restaurant. Hobee's is very flavorful with a bunch of spices, but I can't tell what. I used a pot since I don't have a coffee maker and I took the suggestion of using a coffee filter.

Absolutely delicious! Easy too! Had to use 1 tsp. ground cloves because I realized I didn't have whole ones. My coffeemaker isn't quite big enough, so I dumped in as much as I could & then poured in the rest after I emptied out the pot. Made a double batch for our Thanksgiving get-together, and everyone loved it! I will make this again and again and again...

This is the easiest and best tasting cider I have tried. You can make it ahead of time and the longer it sits the more flavorful it becomes. I've made it for a Holiday Boutique and for Thanksgiving and recieved many many compliments on it!

This will make a nice addition to my holiday "drink" rotation. I wasn't able to brew the full amount in my coffee maker. I only have a 4 cup machine and a clove got stuck in the drip hole and I had to shut it off. BUT, I did several cups worth and was able to enjoy about half of the recipe. The clove taste really came threw. Thanks for sharing.
