Hot Shredded Chicken Sandwiches

"My sister made these sandwiches for our family reunion and my pickiest eater has told me they're her favorite food. The crackers really add a lot of butter flavor!"

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (3 pound) chicken - cooked, deboned and shredded
  • 2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/4 (16 ounce) package buttery round crackers, crushed
  • 12 hamburger buns

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine shredded chicken, condensed soup, poultry seasoning and crushed crackers. Cook, stirring frequently, until mixture is hot, 15 to 20 minutes. Serve on buns.

My family was not impressed with this recipe at all. It was too mushy. I would add more chicken and less crackers. Taste was also kind of bland.

This was great! I didn't have the exact ingredients on hand so I used a 3 pound can of cooked chicken, two cans of cream of chicken soup, a capfull of Mrs. Dash seasoning and the Ritz crackers. It was so fast and easy and everybody loved it! Thanks for the recipe!

I DID NOT CARE FOR THIS AT ALL. IT WAS MUSHY AND BLAND. I WILL NOT MAKE THIS AGAIN.
