Great hot potato salad, I upped the sugar just a bit and next time I will try with apple cider vinegar instead of the white. We enjoyed this very much. It was a nice change for a side dish. Also, I used 4 large potatoes but kept the dressing ingredients the the same so it would be saucer, and it worked out perfect. Thanks

Classically delicious! I don't have celery seed, and it is fine without. If you have trouble with your cooked potatoes crumbling when you slice them, you can always dice the potatoes instead and boil them that way - it's faster too. When I don't serve these right away, I keep them warm in a crock pot.

My father is German so I made this for him. He LOVED it. I read some of the other reviews so I made twice the amt of sauce. I used about 1 1/2 of the sauce.

This potato salad was perfectly tangy and I could not stop myself from eating it. I didn't have celery seed on hand but the sauce ended up tasting great anyway. Make sure to double the sauce!

Great recipe, served with porkchops and slaw. Used apple cider vinegar instead of white vinegar. Probably will only use 7 large potatoes next time.

Wonderful dish - exactly what I wanted to accompany some specialty sausages I picked up. Only change was to use some small, 'new' potatos I already had. Very nice taste.

I reduced the proportions to 8. I thought it was a bit dry for my liking so next time I will increase the dressing by half and see if that does the trick. Otherwise easy and tasty.

This is an easier recipe than some of the german ones i've seen. I lived there for several years and this is a good recipe. You can try caraway seed instead of celery, but use a smaller amount (very strong flavor), but is delicious! Thank you for a time saver form of a wonderful dish!

Easy to make but I really didn't like the celery seed at all. If I were to cook it again I'd leave it out.

This was fantastic! I made it with fewer potatoes but kept the rest the same. There were only a few leftovers but they didn't last long!

To start: I did "like" this recipe, but it was a lil bland for my taste...I also want to note that there was not enough dressing for the potatoes- really be careful on the size of the potatoes and adjust accordingly.

Very good! Just the right amount of tangy & sweet, bacon & onion. Only problem is, I could eat them all myself!! Thanks for the great recipe!
