Am a high school Family & Consumer Science teacher- my students absolutely love this recipe, so does my family- we usually put peanuts only on 1/2 to satisfy those who don't care for nuts. We don't change a thing about it.

I made this dessert for a party and everyone loved it. As per another review....I sprinkled half of a 4 oz. bag of Heath English Toffee Bits on top with the peanuts. The next time I make it I will use the whole bag using half in the middle also. Note: I used a 9 x 13 pan and used 24 Kemps ice cream sandwiches.

Yum! Yum! Made this for our community group and they almost polished it all off. I think they are making ice cream sandwiches smaller than they used to. I had to use almost 24 of them for my 9X13 dish. So be sure to buy enough in case they are small. I also used Hershey's Milk Chocolate in a jar - in my opinion it was way too sweet and made the dessert very rich. Next time I'll stick to the regular chocolate syrup.

I'm in the minority here, unfortunately, and I'm a food lover! The picture looks beautiful, but the end product is nothing to shout about. It's not worth the money or effort when you could just buy a box of ice cream sandwiches. I won't be making this one again. Sorry!

This was absolutely incredible! I used crunchy peanut butter as well with the chocolate syrup and I only added peanuts to the top.

Very easy to make and a crowd pleaser, especially if you have a crowd of kids. :) I thought it was pretty good, but didn't finish my slice. Not sure if it was too rich or what. Admittedly, I used pb Oreos instead of the nuts so maybe that was my mistake. It's still going in the recipe box because it was a hit with the kids, for sure!

Everyone at Memorial Day BBQ loved this. People who didn't initially want dessert had a piece after seeing everyone else enjoying it. Followed the recipe exactly except that I left off the peanuts (I only had salted cocktail peanuts, not dry roasted.) Next time I may just use crumbled reeses pieces instead of putting PB in the chocolate syrup. The hardest part of making this is unwrapping all of the sandwiches!

Yummy! The fudge/peanut butter part was very good! Used peanut butter cups like others suggested b/c the kids don't like nuts. I halved this recipe and it took 11 ice cream sandwiches per 8x8 inch pan.

This was good. I followed the recipe exactly - except I put it in 2 loaf pans instead of the 9x13 - that would not have fit into my freezer. Everyone thought this was very good. The only change I would make is next time I will buy different ice cream sandwiches. I used PET one's and the sandwich part was kind of hard. Other than that it was great!
