It was very satisfying, yet I thought of ways I liked it better and tried it with success! I put the chocolate sauce on the bars first and then after chilling in the freezer, I added slices of banana followed by whipped cream, walnuts, and caramel sauce. Super yummy

Great to take to potlucks or group events. This has been everyone's favorite at many gatherings. Only one problem, I don't ever come home with any leftover! :)

This was DECADENT! So rich-looking (and tasting!). I read that some people had trouble layering, but don't switch the order! Just spread your thawed coolwhip over the sandwiches, then DRIZZLE/pour the chocolate mixture over. It comes out so pretty and swirly looking - see my picture! Having the coolwhip on top (vs the chocolate) is not nearly as visually appealing. Easy and delicious! Thanks!

Absolutely sinful!!! This was super-easy to make and it looks like you spent hours slaving away. This will be a standard dessert for get-togethers at our house from now on!

We have made this dessert several times and it never fails to impress! It's easy to make but still looks fancy when served. Chocolate, peanut butter and ice cream - love it!

This recipe is perfect as is....a little expensive to make, but you can serve 20 people with a 9x13 pan of this....it is very rich, so they will only require a small 2in by 2in square and be blown away! The best I ice cream desert I have EVER had!

decent. i used less PB and it was still way too much. recipe has potential. if i ever make it again (not likely) i would incorporate some fruit (strawberries or raspberries) or make it all chocolate.

How could this not be great. I did use Dove chocolate sauce for the canned stuff and it made it quite smooth and fudge like. I put the chocolate mix down before the whip cream as it was too thick to spread on the cream. It won't last long in my freezer.

Excellent! I made this with chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches then on the first layer I did the PB and chocolate then a topping of whipped cream and slightly chopped mini resee's cups. On the second layer I spread caramel syrup and marshmallow cream with heath bar bits. Then on the very top whipped cream and chocolate shavings. This was high in fat, high in calories and high in flavor!!! I will make this agaiin and again.

As a peanut butter addict, this recipe didn't quite satisfy my craving, but it was still good. The ice cream sandwiches melted easily and eating the dessert was sloppy. I would suggest Kraft's "Chocolate & Peanut Butter Ribbon Dessert" as an amazing, light, and satisfying alternative to this dessert!

Dynamite recipe!! I used fudge rather than chocolate syrup. I also layered the fudge/PB mix first - followed by the cool whip. This base recipe has endless opportunities. Next time I may try omitting the peanut butter, and doing a coconut/almond variation...YUM! Thank you for the fantastic recipe.

This was a very easy and impressive dessert! I did make some changes... I made it in a 11 by 17 inch pan. I used 2 and 1/2 boxes of Blue Bunny Vanilla Ice cream Sandwiches. To assemble the dessert, I lined the ice cream sandwiches then mixed the chocolate & peanut mixture (I used Hershey Fudge and Chunky Peanut Butter). I then chopped 1 cup frozen Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I put a layer of Friendly's Vanilla Fudge Swirl Ice Cream. Next, repeat with Ice Cream Sandwiches and Chocolate Mixture. (Minus the Reese's) I piped on Cool Whip and put it in the freezer overnight. It was super easy! Thanks for a great base for a recipe!
