this should be illegal. I followed the recipe exactly, except for halving it and making it in a 9x9 pan. it didn't quite fill it but I think that made it easier to serve, as there was less breakage. the peanut butter totally makes the dish, neither my boyfriend nor I could get enough of it. I made it for Valentine's Day dessert for something unexpected and it would also be perfect for a summer dinner. I would eat it any day of the year! thanks SOOO much for sharing this recipe; I will definitely make it again!

This was a very easy dessert to make and it was great! My husband is very fussy and he can not get enough of it. I did use Skor bits instead of the salted peanuts and I think that threw it over the top.

I made this dessert for a little get together with some college friends and everyone absolutely loved it! The layers were definitely intense - we call this dessert "The Diabetic Coma." So I highly recommend this recipe for an event. I also used Cookies N' Cream ice cream sandwiches rather than plain vanilla and it was awesome!

I made this for our group of friends. Adults and teens. What a huge hit! Looks and tastes like you slaved all day. Only you have to know how easy it was. A little RICH, but heavenly none the less. I did use the suggestion to put the chocolate mixture on before the Cool Whip. I added a bit (1/4 cup) more peanut butter to the chocolate and I think that next time I might coarsely chop the peanuts. I also topped with some mini chocolate chips sprinkled on.

This is INSANE! I took the other cooks suggestions and added the chocolate sauce and the caramel sauce on the ice cream bars THEN put the whipped cream over it. This is a very large dessert, it will fill (top and sides) of a 13x9 pan so be aware. It is also very rich so people only ate a small piece.

It was a big hit with everyone. I think it needs to set up for a couple hours. And I needed one more ice cream bar to fill my pan. So I would have 20 ice cream bars instead. It is very rich and small pieces are better.

Excellent flavor but my pan was overflowing by the time I was done layering. Next time I'll line the pan up the sides with heavy-duty foil to make sure the sides of the pan stay clean.

This was really good. the only thing I would change is using some carmel on top instead of choc. I love chocolate but this was a bit too much.

pretty easy to do, but a little too rich or "kid" tasting....

I've made this a few times and it was very good! We only eat this in small portions because it is rich, but it is so easy and SOOO good :)

I made this recipe for a family event where everyone loves to eat and was actually disappointed. The only person who liked it was my 8 year old who loves anything ice cream - . . .maybe just our tastebuds but wouldn't make again :-(

I absolutely loved this dessert and so did my whole family. It didn't sound like it would have been a big deal but trust me it was gone in no time. I followed the recipe completely and like others said I even used generic stuff. Perfect!

The sauce alone is worth the recipe....I used a can of Hersey's and the PB, didn't use it all, and refigerated the extra. It was perfect...it did not solidify at all. Tasted great over vanilla ice cream....YUM!

This came out amazing! Everyone asked for more and more. I used homemade whipped cream and crunchy peanut butter. My husband said it is better than a peanut buster parfait which is his favorite ice cream dessert.
