pretty cool..I consider myself to be a HOT DOG addict/toppings and all the gore..//..I make a hot dog pizza..nice simple meal..hot dogs are a very cheap supply of animal protein..I lift weights and at times I use hot dogs for protein.

NOPE, not my cup of tea, nor for my 4 yr old. Sorry won't be trying this anytime soon.

9/20/07:These were great! I didn't have relish so I used chopped up pickle. I wish I would have used more, but my boyfriend asked me to make it a second time without the pickle and a tad more ketchup and mustard to make it more saucy. It does freeze well too which is nice to have an instant lunch since I don't have a lot of time during the week. Thanks! (PS. easier to spread if you mince really small)UPDATE 2/26/08:These really shouldn't be froze for too long bc the crust just tastes funny. Maybe it's the bread Im using. I tried just filling hot dog buns and it wasn't bad! Was kind of fun too, like a cold hot dog.

Sounded so good that I jumped up from the computer and made one for breakfast no less! Very satisfying although I might cut back I the relish for mornings. Kids should love at noontime.

I make my 5 yr old "Hot Dog Sandwiches" all the time, this offers some good ideas, his are served on toast with diced hot dogs and ketchup, occasionally cheese. Thanks for some new ideas.....

My mom used to make a version of this for us kids---except she added mayo to the mix. I think we called it 'hot dog salad'. I had forgotten about it, thanks for the memories!
